Mary Ellen and Tony Scott of Syracuse are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Mary Scott, to Gregory Redmond, son of Terry and Robin Redmond of North Syracuse. Lauren is a graduate of Bishop Ludden High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Childhood Education from SUNY Oneonta and a Master's degree from Le Moyne College. She is a fifth grade teacher at Most Holy Rosary School in Syracuse. Gregory is a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy. He received his Bachelor's from SUNY Oswego and Master's degree from Le Moyne College. He is a day program administrator for ElderChoice. A July 2014 wedding is planned.
