Karen Semak and William Vangel Jr., both of Syracuse, are pleased to announce their engagement. Karen is employed by Solvay Bank in Loan Administration and William is a network engineer at St. Joseph s Hospital Health Center. Karen was surprised when asked to be married on the scoreboard at Yankee Stadium August 10th at her 50th surprise birthday party. Surrounded by over 40 friends and family including 45 thousand other guests she said yes! Karen is the daughter of Mary Semak and the late John Semak Sr. William is the son of the late Helen and William Vangel Sr. An October 2014 wedding is planned
