Mr. and Mrs. Don Kinsley of Baldwinsville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Maria Christine Kinsley, to Benjamin Gregory Birnell, son of Diane Odash of Farmington, MN, and K.C. Birnell of St. Paul, MN.

Maria is a graduate of C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville and SUNY College at Brockport. Ben is a graduate of Farmington, MN, High School and St. Cloud State University.

The couple met while working on the copy desk at the Binghamton Press & Sun-Bulletin in 2010. They currently work at the Utica Observer-Dispatch.

An October 2014 wedding is planned in Syracuse on the couple's fourth anniversary.
