Richard and Mariann Viel together with David and Carolyn Scripter are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Briana M. Viel and Brian M. Scripter. Brian surprised Briana with a proposal while on a skiing trip in Vermont at the top of Mount Snow. Briana is a 2004 graduate of Liverpool High School. She received her B.A. in Graphic Design and Journalism from Oswego State College in 2008. Briana is currently working as a graphic designer in Syracuse. Brian is a 2004 graduate of Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park, NY.  He is a 2009 graduate of Oswego State College having received his Bachelor's Degree and MBA in Accounting. He is currently self-employed as a Day Trader. A Fall 2015 wedding is planned.
