Description
Clement "Clem" and Muriel (DeYulio) Lerro of Fayetteville, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on September 17, 2014.
Clem & Muriel were married September 17, 1949, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church by the late Rev. Frank Sammons.
Their family includes son Michael, of East Syracuse; son and daughter-in-law Richard and Deborah of Fayetteville; grandchildren Jeffrey and his wife Sarah, Brian and his wife Lindsay, Daniel and his wife Adrienne, Colleen and her fiancé Ian and great-grandchildren Kate and Rex.
Clem retired from Western Electric Co., and Muriel retired from New York Telephone Co.
When they were married Clem made a deal with Muriel that she would make coffee for the first 25 years. She has clearly won out on this deal as Clem has been making the coffee for the past 40 years!
Clem and Muriel avoid the cold and snow spending their winters in St. Petersburg, Florida.
They celebrated their anniversary with a trip to New York City where they honeymooned 65 years ago!
