Betsy Ernyey of Skaneateles Falls and Lorand Ernyey of Skaneateles are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Christine Ernyey to Joshua Philip Perry, son of Michelle Perry and Stephen Perry of Shortsville, NY.

Amanda is the grand-daughter of the late Robert and Anna Sparks of Syracuse and Iren Ernyey and the late Bela Ernyey of Budapest, Hungary. Josh is the grandson of Nancy and the late Albert Perry, Patricia Hathway and , Philip and Betty Sykes of Shortsville.

Amanda, a graduate of Skaneateles High School, received her BS in Biochemistry from Binghamton University, and her Doctorate in Pharmacy from Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA. She completed her residency this year and is employed as a Pediatric and Neonatal Pharmacist at Children’s Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs.

Josh, a graduate from Red Jacket High School, attended Clarkson University, and completed his Doctorate in Pharmacy from Shenandoah University in Winchester VA. He completed his residency in 2010 and is employed as an Emergency Department Pharmacist at University of Colorado Health in Colorado Springs.

The couple met in 2008 while in pharmacy school in Virginia. Josh proposed to Amanda on Christmas Eve while they were home with family. The couple will reside in Colorado Springs. The wedding will be held at the Belhurst Castle in Geneva, NY on August 10, 2013.
