Frederick (Fred) and Janice (VanNostrand) Thomas, of Baldwinsville, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on October 11, 2012. A family dinner was held to honor them on October 21, 2012 at The Delta Lake Inn. Maid of honor Norma Goodman, also attended the dinner.
Fred and Jan were married October 11, 1952 in St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville.
The family includes daughter Martha Wall and her husband Dave; son Phillip and his wife Cindy; and grandson Zakariah Ispahani.
Fred retired from Niagara Mohawk after 35 years of service. Janice is a homemaker. They both enjoy ice skating, spending time with their family and summers in the Adirondacks.
