Retired NYS Supreme Court Justice Bernard L. Reagan and Ruth Anne (Smyth) Reagan of Marcellus celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on December 27, 2012 with a dinner held at The Inn Between Restaurant (Elbridge) on December 26th, the eve of the occasion. Attending were the couple’s eight children and their families, including Bernard L. Reagan, Jr. of Mountainview, CA; Patrick Reagan of Marcellus; Dr. Brian Reagan of Cape Cod, MA; Daniel Reagan of Syracuse; Rosemary Vulcano (Tom) of Marcellus and children Sarah, Shannon and Samantha; Tim Reagan (Lisa Agogliati) of Maryland and daughter Tessa; Mary Reagan Dailey (Patrick) of Marcellus and children Annie, Laura and Tom; and Eileen Driscoll of Syracuse and children Patrick, Molly and Emma. The couple was married at St. Patrick’s Church in Corning, NY on December 27, 1952. Bernard graduated from Marcellus High School, Syracuse University and SU College of Law. He was a WWII Naval Veteran of the Pacific, former Marcellus Town Justice and Supervisor, Onondaga County Legislator and Surrogate Court Judge, and NYS Supreme Court Justice, retiring in 1995. He currently practices law at Reagan and Dailey in Marcellus. Ruth Anne graduated from North Side High School in Corning, NY, and Syracuse University. She taught music at Marcellus Central Schools, raised eight children and is actively involved with the activities of her ten grandchildren. She is the retired music director of St. Francis Xavier Church, a piano teacher, writer, artist and active member of the Skaneateles-Marcellus Art Guild. The couple enjoys travelling the world, having gone on numerous cruises over the past twenty years.
