Les and Mellonie Blauvelt of Lacona, NY are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Ryann Blauvelt, to John Vincent Hamlin, son of George Hamlin of Randolph, NJ and Cathleen Hamblin of Scriba, NY.  Jessica is a 2009 graduate of Sandy Creek Central School. She earned her Associate’s degree in Human Services from SUNY Jefferson. She is currently employed as a Pharmacy Technician at Oswego Hospital. John is also a 2009 graduate of Sandy Creek Central Scool. He attended SUNY Jefferson for 2 years. He is currently employed by the US Navy. A fall 2013 wedding is being planned.
