On September 1, 2012 Patricia Gentile (Murray) and Thomas Gentile celebrated 60 years of marriage! They were united in Holy Matrimony on September 1, 1952 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Oswego. Following a Mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in which they renewed their vows, the happy couple celebrated with dozens of family and friends at their son’s residence in Oswego. Tom and Pat are lifelong residents of Oswego and have raised 6 children; Michael (Bobette) Gentile of Okemos MI; Terri (Leon) Smith of Fulton; Kevin (Traci) Gentile of Stafford VA; Dan (Teresa) Gentile of Oswego; Dianne Motyka of Oswego, and Janine Gentile of Ft. Collins, CO. They now boast 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Tom and Pat owned and operated several businesses in Oswego including Gentile’s Deco-Tique. Tom retired from the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 175 several years ago after serving as Business Manager and International Representative for many years. Tom and Pat currently enjoy taking trips to the casinos, visiting with friends and family, and going to shows. Tom also tinkers in his workshop and Pat loves to shop for the grandkids. Pat also loves to play bridge and Tom is an avid reader. We wish the happy couple many more years together.
