Lauren and Walt Shotwell of Hillsborough, NJ (formerly East Syracuse) and Ken Bench of Vine Grove, KY (formerly Syracuse) proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Bench (formerly Liverpool) to Patrick Sheehan, son of Kevin and Mary Ann Sheehan of Brockton, MA.

The future bride is a graduate of Oswego State University and Syracuse University, and is a Practice Administrator at McKinsey & Company in St. Petersburg, FL.  She is also a group fitness instructor for BayCare Health in St. Petersburg, FL.

The future groom is a graduate of UMASS Amherst and UMASS Boston, and is a World History teacher at Bloomingdale High School in Valerico, FL.

The couple resides in St. Petersburg, FL.

A July12, 2014 wedding is planned.
