Beth and James Bernardone of DeWitt, along with Ella Conklin Graff and Daniel Graff of Buffalo, are pleased to announce the engagement of their children Krista Danielle Graff and Nicholas Francis Bernardone. The groom is the grandson of the late Robert and Felice Merola formerly of Syracuse. The future groom planned and executed a surprise proposal (which was captured on the jumbotron) at the New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden on April 25, 2012. The couple met at Jamesville DeWitt High School, and are both graduates of State University of New York at Fredonia. They currently reside in the New York City area. An April 20, 2013 weeding is planned at Our Lady of Pompei church in Syracuse, New York.
