Robert Hetz and Michelle St.Pierre-Hetz are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Lt. Lauren R. St.Pierre-Hetz USN to Lt. Patrick D. Wilson USMC. Pat is from Centerville Iowa and the son of the Honorable Judge Daniel and Lottie Wilson. Lauren is the granddaughter of long time Syracuse residents C. Edward St. Pierre and the late Barbra J. (Witz) St. Pierre. Lauren is a 2005 graduate of JD High School. Both Lauren and Pat are graduates of the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis Maryland, Class of 2009. With several deployments between them, Lauren served as the Gunnery Officer on the USS O’Kane 2009-2011 and now she is currently a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer on the USS Abraham Lincoln. The Lincoln recently returned from duty providing combat air support in the Persian Gulf for Operation Enduring Freedom. Lt. Patrick Wilson, is safely back from a yearlong deployment in Afghanistan. He served with valor as a Ground Intelligence Officer embedded with the Afghani Army in the Helmand Province. The couple was engaged at a romantic plantation outside of Charleston, SC. A June 2013 wedding is planned overlooking the Green Mountains at Hildene, the historic Lincoln family home in Manchester Center Vermont.
