Meredith Laing and Christopher VanBenschoten were married September 15, 2012, at The Aurora Inn, on Cayuga Lake in Aurora, New York. The bride is the daughter of Anne Laing of New Preston, Connecticut, and Rob and Julie Laing of Portland, Maine. The groom is the son of Vickey and Jim Longo of Cazenovia, New York, and Bob and Bonnie VanBenschoten of Liverpool, New York. Meredith and Chris both attended Syracuse University and met while working at the Onondaga Golf and Country Club. Meredith is Manager of Communications and Public Relations at the Princeton Symphony Orchestra. Chris is Executive Chef at the Somerville Elks Lodge. The couple currently lives in Princeton, New Jersey. They are planning to honeymoon in the Mediterranean.
