Carmen and Beth Sassano of Clay NY, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Sassano, to Mark Potter, son of Brenda Potter of Corning and Howard (Teri) Potter, Jr. of Bath. Sarah is the granddaughter of Edith Kauer of Liverpool, the late Charles F. Brigham, Marguerite Sassano of Syracuse, and the late Carmen Sassano. Mark is the grandson of Cora and Don Robertson, Marie (Rosario) Licciardello, and the late Howard Potter Sr. Sarah is a graduate of CNS High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Le Moyne College. Mark is a graduate of Corning West High School and received a Bachelor’s from SUNY Cortland. The couple became engaged July 20, 2012 in Alexandria Bay. A July 20, 2013 wedding is planned.
