Requires an aptitude toward system configuration, analytics, access or other database skills. Prefer college experience, in computer, statistical, or technical training.

We are seeking an individual with solid health care business process experience that has an analytical aptitude and understanding of health care business computer systems. Use problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues to configure systems to align with health plan business requirements. Requires experience with health care plan operations such as provider pricing, claims, member benefit plans, and/or CPT and ICD9 codes. Microsoft Access required.
 
Data Analyst - Medicaid
Utilize data analysis to collect and structure data, design reports, maintain databases, and assist in audits and measurement activities that support the needs of department. Oversee the Medicaid claims data in reconciling claim denials, pends, rejects and payments. Improve claims payment accuracy, first pass rate and timeliness by analyzing Facets configuration of agreements, pends, explanation codes, warning messages, clinical edits, service id and other set-up. Associates Degree in Computer science, business, related field, or the combination of education and experience that would enable performance of the full scope of the position. Requires 2 years related progressive experience in collecting, manipulating, evaluating and reporting data. Access programmer, advanced Microsoft Excel are required. SQL is preferred.
