Vincennes University Military Education Program Washington
site, to include Naval Base Kitsap Bremerton, Bangor, and Naval Hospital
Bremerton. This is a full-time, support staff position with
benefits located in Bremerton, WA.


High School Diploma or GED.Physical:
Must be able to lift 50lbs. Must be able to traverse standard shipboard
ladders found on US Navy and Coast Guard vessels.

Skills: Typing skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
Proficiency in Banner software desired but not required.


Must have excellent written skills and be proficient in
general business administration formats. Verbal communication skills both in
person and on the phone are required.

duties as assigned. Performs
various clerical and routine accounting tasks in support of site
operations. Procure
and maintain required office supplies. Track
student registrations, tuition payments, for both local and distance
education site enrollments. Maintain
instructional supplies inventory to include textbooks, consumables and
non-consumable assets. Provide
daily executive overview of reports to the site director as required. Assist the
director in marketing and promoting VU MEP in Washington. Travel as
necessary to the educational sites of Washington. Provide
cross training to other employees of VU MEP. Provide
support for Directors and Advisors. Maintain a
highly efficient and organized office environment, to include but not
limited to: providing accurate information on phone, via email, and in
person to the public; maintaining confidentiality in the work environment;
creating and maintaining files and systems of organization both
electronically and via hard copy; basic computer maintenance for all
computers in the system; billing; meeting deadlines associated with the
academic calendar; accurate operation of the VU Text Loan System. Other
duties as assigned by the Director.
