This full-time administrative position reports to the Registrar, and is responsible for the functional administration and business analysis of the student information system as it relates to the Registrar's Office. This includes working in conjunction with the IT department, testing installed software, developing accompanying policies, and implementing best institutional practices.
Some of the essential duties and responsibilities include:
Implement Banner Student module upgrades, stay current on upcoming releases, and optimize use of the Banner Student module.
Oversee functional administration for specialized software programs in relation to the Registrar's Office functions (i.e., degree evaluation/Degree Works, transfer, etc.)
Develop and oversee the Registrar's Office data analysis needs.
Prepare and coordinate on-campus training for faculty, staff, and students for Banner Student, related Mavzone functions, and other functions related to this position.
Monitor, evaluate, and improve information services to best serve students, faculty, and staff related to the Registrar's Office functions, room scheduling, and other areas as assigned.
Serve as functional administrator for the calendar/room scheduling software (R25) including improvement of output on various campus calendars and operational reports.
Coordinate efforts with the IT department related to implementation and maintenance of necessary information systems.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: This position requires an earned bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Preference will be given to the candidate with Registrar's Office experience and a working knowledge of Banner (or similar student data base system).
All Registrar's Office staff are expected to be detail-oriented; be able to communicate effectively and clearly both verbally and in writing; be able to deal diplomatically and professionally with people at all levels; be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines; and be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
SALARY: $47,000-$50,000, commensurate with education and experience. Excellent health and retirement benefits package.
