COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) is seeking a Communications Specialist. An Associate's degree with an emphasis in graphic design, advertising, communications, journalism, professional writing or related field is required; bachelor's degree in same field(s) of study is preferred. At least two years of practical, related work experience is required. Submission of a professional portfolio, including samples of applicant's writing, design work, photography, and/or videography is required. Please be aware all portfolio samples provided are part of the application for employment and will not be returned. Experience using Microsoft Office products; graphic design software (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Quark); and web design software (Front Page, Dream Weaver, Go Live, or comparable programs) is required. Experience in photography and using photo-editing software is required. Experience in videography and video editing is preferred, as is experience using Adobe Premiere video editing software. Must have and maintain a valid Colorado driver's license.
