Must have a COC (CPC) or CCS Credential minimum (AAPC or AHIMA) in good standing and/or not less than 3 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient services. Must have working knowledge and training in ICD-10 CM and PCS/CPT. Must have excellent spelling and keyboarding skills. Must have knowledge of basic computer and medical terminology.

Investigate potential fraud, waste and/or abuse by conducting audits of enrollment and claims payment processes to minimize potential insurance fraud. Requires 3 years accounting / auditing experience in a healthcare setting, database and spreadsheet expertise. Previous experience performing audits in a CPA firm preferred.
