Job Purpose:

Innovative Textiles, Inc. is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Operations Manager.  This position is responsible for delivering the products according to specifications, schedule, quality, and other customer requirements. This person will possess end-to-end understanding of the value delivery system for the business. He or she will be in alignment with the strategic positioning for the business and meeting the needs of the customers.  He or she will have a commitment to measureable performance, safety, and continuous improvement, actively pursuing opportunities to improve cost, quality and throughput

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Determining organizational objectives and priorities in support of the company’s strategy and vision, and for developing teams to deliver results in support of these objectives and priorities; leaving daily tactical direction to Production Supervision/Lead Persons. 

-Ensuring a safe, clean and environmentally compliant work environment and building a culture where safety is a first priority 

-Leading and supporting safety initiatives and processes to drive towards zero recordable injuries

 -Making operational decisions or recommendations that could affect the financial, employee, or public relations posture of the organization 

-Living the values and vision of the Company; establish an engaged workforce characterized by mutual trust, open communications, teamwork, and recognition 

-Leading a lean culture environment through six sigma processes and toolsets 

-Assigning and coordinating the work in a manufacturing department to include supervising first line leaders (where they exist), and analyze productivity reports 

-Preparing budgets relative to capital expenditures, manpower, production, and space forecasting 

-Facilitating process improvements through people deployment, productivity enhancements, high performance work teams and being a model for change 

-Developing and leading strategic business plans; accountable for delivering plant performance metrics 

-Driving alignment between all plant departments 

-Creating and sustaining a culture where talent is developed through effective performance management and talent evaluation 

-Effectively staffing the organization, providing competent people and the appropriate mix of internal and external talent to satisfy both near-term and long-term succession needs 

-Investing in the growth and development of individuals identified as high potential talent 

-Establishing clear and measurable expectations of performance and review commitments to ensure goals are achieved; completing first line leader performance appraisals and coaching employees to develop and execute growth and development plans 

-Creating, monitoring and enforcing plant policies in a consistent manner to ensure a positive employee environment

-Maintaining documentation, tracking, counseling and executing coaching and corrective action when performance issues occur 

-Actively leading and building effective work teams and committees to increase plant performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives 


-A minimum of 7 years progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing facility or environment or 

-A minimum of 5 years manufacturing leadership and undergraduate degree in Business or Engineering. 

-Experience in leading, assessing, and developing talent to deliver results 

 Knowledge and Abilities:

-Demonstrated capability in change management

-Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of management and all hourly employees

-Knowledge and experience creating, implementing, and using production and manufacturing processes, systems (ERP, MRP), and techniques 

-Lean manufacturing / Supply Chain experience

Job Purpose:

Innovative Textiles, Inc. is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Master Scheduler. The purpose of this position is to work with Sales and Product Management to develop the Master Schedule, using information gathered from multiple sources to drive daily and weekly materials and production schedules of the facility.  Also responsible for long range material planning while considering current inventory, demand, lead times, product life cycles and production capacity.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Assemble master schedule reporting regarding performance to the business plan, the shipment plan, the inventory plan, and the production plan.

-Schedule demand based on the product mix and provide accurate commitment dates to customer service team across multiple product lines

-Establish key performance indicators of forecast accuracy. Ensure the interaction of a firm’s functional managers, and track and maintain the forecast through timely and accurate feedback.

-Provide input to finance on operating plans for the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, concerning incoming volume and capacity

-Identify current planned level of demand and create tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand. Calculate production lead times.

-Manage load leveling and bottleneck scheduling and utilize theory of constraints (TOC) for more accurate scheduling.

-Analyze production floor status through input/output control reporting.

-Coordinate information with other functional staff, including sales, engineering, and accounting.

-Establish reporting to determine labor and productivity performance statistics.

-Establish, measure, monitor, and adjust capacity levels to execute all manufacturing schedules.

- Engage in capacity management during sales and operations planning, materials requirements planning, and production activity.

 -Understand capacity management relationship to MRP. Manage department and WIP stations input and output loading. Resolve differences between department loads and available capacity.  Measure the utilization and efficiency of departments and locations.

 Required knowledge, skills and abilities

-Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Management plus 3+ years of Supply Chain/Master Scheduling experience

-Or 5+ years progressive experience in Supply Chain/Master Scheduling
