YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that a verified petition has been filed in the above-named Court and the child, PATRICK RYAN was found dependent or neglected pursuant to Section 19-3-102 (1) (c) of the Colorado Children's Code, as amended, for the reasons set forth more fully in said Petition.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that a Verified Motion to Terminate Parent-Child Legal Relationships regarding the child, PATRICK RYAN, and his parents, REBECCA RYAN and WILLIAM RYAN, has been filed.
AS RESPONDENTS to this action you have the following rights pursuant to C.R.S. 19-3-602. You have a right to have an attorney represent you and be present at all hearings, including the termination of parental rights hearing, or you may waive that right. If you fail to attend the termination hearing and have not obtained counsel prior to the hearing date, the Court may interpret your failure to appear as a waiver of your right to counsel to represent your interests at the hearing.
If you do desire to be represented by a lawyer, you should begin now to obtain one and ask him or her to notify the Court of his or her name and address. If the Court finds that you cannot afford to pay a lawyer and as a natural parent, guardian or legal custodian, you wish one to represent you, you are entitled to a court-appointed lawyer if you meet the guidelines imposed under C.R.S. 19-1-105. You may obtain court appointed counsel by applying to the Court, through the Clerk for the Judge who will hear the case, prior to the next scheduled hearing for which a lawyer is requested.
C.R.S. 19-3-604 (1) (a) (I) authorizes the court to enter an order terminating parent-child legal relationships upon a finding that the children have been adjudicated Dependent or Neglected, and that the children have been abandoned in that the parents have surrendered physical custody of the children for six (6) months or more, and have not manifested during that period the firm intention to resume physical custody of the children or to make permanent legal arrangements for the care of the children.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Court has set a Termination of Parental Rights Trial on May 9, 10, 11 & 12, 2016, at at 5/9 @ 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; 5/10 @ 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; 5/11 @ 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 5/12 @ 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. before the Honorable Valerie J. Robison, Courtroom No. 5. The District Court is located in the MESA COUNTY JUSTICE CENTER, 125 North Spruce, Grand Junction, Colorado. Bids should be clearly marked: Bid for Emergency Medical Services and Plant Operations Building. Bids will not be publically opened.
The new Emergency Medical Services and Plant Operations Building is a 10,200 SF, single story pre-engineered metal building with vehicle garages, offices, shop, meeting, wellness and break rooms and other support facilities. The estimated project value is over $1,000,000. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid amount must accompany the bid.
This project will be awarded under the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) method. Bids received in response to this RFP will be evaluated based on a number of factors, including price, technical approach to the project and schedule, past performance and experience, project management capabilities, craft labor capabilities, and other factors which, taken as a whole represent the most advantageous and best overall value to the Owner. The Owner may, at its sole discretion reject any and all bids, or may award the contract to someone other than the low bidder.
There will be a Mandatory Prebid Meeting at 11:00 am on May 16, 2016 at the project site. Bidders must attend this meeting in order for their bids to be considered. Qualified firms may contact Ralph Wegner, Owner's Representative at 970-739-0467 for further information or to obtain bid documents.
