FOR INCLUSION OF REAL PROPERTIES
Clifton Sanitation District
Petitions praying for the inclusion of real property into the Clifton Sanitation District have been properly executed and filed with the Board of Directors of said District by the owners of 100% of the properties herein described. Clifton Sanitation District
Anaerobic Selectors and Poly Aluminum Chloride (PACl) Feed System
The Clifton Sanitation District in Clifton, Colorado will receive sealed bids for construction of the Anaerobic Selectors and Poly Aluminum Chloride (PACl) Feed System on August 19, 2014 until 2:00 pm. The Clifton Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility is located at 3217 D Road Clifton, Colorado 81520 in Mesa County, Colorado. The project consists of construction and installation of two new concrete anaerobic selectors, a PACl feed system, and associated electrical, instrumentation, piping, and site work.
Bid opening will be at the office of Dewberry Engineers, 990 South Broadway, Suite 400, Denver, Colorado, 80204. Project plans (11” x 17”), specifications and bid documents will be on August 1, 2014 at a non-refundable cost of $150 per set from Dewberry Engineers. INVITATION TO BID
The City of Grand Junction will receive sealed bids at the Office of the City Clerk at City Hall, 250 North Fifth Street, Grand Junction, Colorado, 81501, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19th, 2014 for the 27 & H Road Bridge Deck Replacement Project (GRJ-H-27.01A). All bids will be opened and read aloud at the City Auditorium immediately following the submittal deadline. The project generally consists of demolition of the existing bridge deck(209 square yards), installation of 209 square yards of 10 gage corrugated steel decking, 157 square yards of asphalt milling and approximately 366 square yards of asphalt pavement.
Contractors submitting bids over $50,000 must be prequalified in accordance with the City's "Rules and Procedures for Prequalification of Contractors." Application forms for prequalification are available at the Administration Office of the Department of Public Works and Planning (970-256-4126) or on the City's website at www.gjcity.org. Prequalification applications must be submitted two weeks prior to bid opening date. Bids received from non-prequalified contractors will not be opened.
The July 2010 edition of the “City Standard Contract Documents for Capital Improvements Construction”, Plans, Specifications and other Bid Documents are available for review or download on the Bids page at www.gjcity.org.

The City Clerk’s Office will stamp the date and mark the time received on all bids. Bids not received prior to the date and time indicated on the Invitation to Bid will not be considered. The City is not responsible for delays occasioned by the U.S. Postal Service, the internal mail delivery system of the City, or any other means of delivery employed by the Bidder.
Each Bid shall be submitted on a form furnished by the City and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the amount of the Bid and made payable to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, both in the amount of 100% of the total Contract amount, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents and on forms provided by the City.
