29 ROAD DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
RFP-15-03056-3047
Mesa County Public Works is soliciting qualification submittals and proposals from engineering firms interested in providing professional services for design, project management and preparation of construction contract documents for the 29 Road Drainage Improvement Project
The 29 Road Drainage Improvement project will include, a master drainage study, which will encompass the Sunrise Ridge Subdivision, verification and staking the Right-of-Way (ROW), survey of the project area, engineering design for phase I and alternatives to improve the drainage issues on 29 Road (from the Frontage Road south to Sunridge Road.). Mesa County would like to collect all the stormwater coming from 29 Road, in the stormdrain inlet, at the intersection of 29 Road and the Frontage Road. The drainage study will need to include verification on the storm drains and their capacities. All work performed and proposed will need to be on Mesa County ROW.
Mesa County reserves the right to accept the proposals or any portion of the proposals by a competent firm, as determined by the statement of qualification and the proposals, which is deemed to be in the best interest of the County. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any portion of the proposals or the entire proposals without disclosing the reason therefore.
This RFP is available starting January 26, 2015, by going to the following web page: http://www.mesacounty.us/publicworks/bids/
Mesa County, in an effort to expedite the bidding process, will be using the web page as a method of getting all pertinent information out on Transportation Capital Projects. All necessary documents including bids sets, specifications, addendum and any addition information will be placed on the web page. These documents will be under the specific project name. It shall be the responsibility of all firms and contractors to check the web page and download the appropriate documents including all addendums. No notice will be sent informing contractor's and firms that there is new information or addendums. This is the responsibility of the individual firms and/or contractor's. Any questions or problems with the web page should be directed to Pam Hawkins at 970-244-1765.
Submittal materials must be received by 5:00 P.M. (MDT) on February 20, 2015 to be considered.
