CLIFTON WATER DISTRICT

The Clifton Water District, Acting By And Through Its Water Activity Enterprise, will receive separate sealed BIDS for the Clifton Water District Project 2014-0, Phase 2 at the water office at 510 34 Road, Clifton, Colorado 81520 until 4:00 p.m., MDT on the 30th day of April, 2015, at which time and place all BIDS will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project for which bids are being accepted includes the installation of approximately 2,500 feet of 8" DR-14 C900 PVC pipe and related appurtenances to accommodate installation of an upgraded water main on F 5/8 Road, Clifton, CO from approximately 3325 33 Road to the intersection of F 5/8 Road and 33 ¾ Road. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for all required traffic control, pipe, pipe accessory materials, individual water service materials, backfill, compaction compliance, and disturbed surface restorations.
Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained from the District's Project Representative, David Reinertsen, at 510 34 Road; Clifton, Colorado 81520 (970 434 7328). There are no fees for copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS for parties interested in performing the work.
All BIDS must be accompanied by a BID BOND in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. No BID shall be withdrawn after the opening of BIDS without the consent of the Clifton Water District for a period of thirty (30) calendar days after the scheduled time of the opening of BIDS. The successful BIDDER must also provide a one hundred percent (100%) PAYMENT BOND and a one hundred percent (100%) PERFORMANCE BOND.
All BIDS must be submitted in writing on the forms provided and signed by the BIDDER or a duly authorized agent.
The OWNER (Clifton Water District) reserves the right to reject any and all BIDS and to waive any informalities in BIDDING and to make the award in such a manner as they may deem right and proper for the best interests of the Public.
There will be a mandatory pre-bid tour for this project at 9:00 am on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 commencing at the District offices, located at 510 34 Road, Clifton, CO.

COMMENT PERIOD
The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public comments on an oil and gas exploration and development program northwest of De Beque, Colo.
Black Hills Plateau Production's Homer Deep Unit Master Development Plan proposes development of up to 36 wells on four new well pads and one existing well pad as well as associated access roads and gathering lines. Each well pad would encompass about 7 acres.
The BLM is asking the public to identify comments, concerns and issues before it begins drafting the environmental assessment of this proposal.
Comments will be most helpful if received by xxx, 2015. Written comments and questions should be directed to the Colorado River Valley Field Office at 2300 River Frontage Road, Silt, CO 81652 or submitted electronically to blm_co_si_mail@blm.gov.
Copies of the proposed action that further detail the proposed oil and gas development are available for review at the BLM Colorado River Valley Field Office and online at https://www.blm.gov/epl-front-office/eplanning/lup/lup_register.do.

MESA COUNTY 2015 OVERLAY
PROJECT
The County of Mesa, Colorado will receive sealed bids for the 2015 Overlay Project, RFP Number MCDT-OP-15-03043. Bids will be received at the Mesa County Division of Transportation, 971 Coffman Rd, Bldg B, 2nd Floor Conference Room #205, Whitewater, Colorado until 11:00 A.M., April 10, 2015, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The contract documents and plans for overlaying roads in Mesa County, Colorado with Hot Mix Asphalt may be picked up at the following location, on March 30, 2015 after 11:00 A.M.

This year's Overlay Project includes replacement of Hot Mix Asphalt in various locations throughout Mesa County, Colorado. Due to requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) the contract will include concrete replacement. Concrete work will be completed before asphalt work begins on those projects that include concrete. Concrete work was added to this contract and is intended to facilitate scheduling and reduce conflicts resulting in a better job for the residents of Mesa County. Work on the concrete portion of this project will need to be coordinated with the utility companies and needs to be completed before school starts on August 3, 2015.
This Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder which is deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
A Certified Check or Bank Draft on a responsible bank, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and a recognized Colorado Licensed Surety Company payable to Mesa County, in a amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid, shall be submitted with each bid as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract in accordance with this notice, and give bond as hereinafter provided.
No bids may be withdrawn after the opening of bids, without consent of Mesa County, for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled time of opening of bids. The successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish satisfactory performance bonds equal to the full amount of each bid or proposal.
All bids must be submitted in writing on the forms provided, and must be signed by the bidder or his duly authorized agent.
