The following is a summary of a bond resolution that was adopted by the Board of Education (the "Board") of the Clarence Central School District (the "District") on June 10, 2019. The bond resolution authorizes the issuance and sale of a serial bond or bonds (or notes issued in anticipation thereof, and any renewals of such notes) (collectively, the "Obligations") in an amount not to exceed $940,000 and delegates to the District Clerk (1) the power to prescribe certain aspects of the terms, form and contents of the Obligations and (2) certain powers pertaining to the sale and issuance of the Obligations. The proceeds from the sale of the Obligations shall be used to finance the District's purchase of school buses and similar vehicles (and related equipment), for use in the District's transportation program, including preliminary costs and costs incidental thereto and in connection with the financing thereof. The period of probable usefulness for such purpose is five years.
