The project can be bid in three ways, Bid One: both roof and Kitchen Cabinet per drawings & spec. Bid Two: re roof only per drawings 7 spec. Bid Three: Kitchen cabinet only, per drawings & spec. Bona fide General Contractors may obtain two sets of Construction Documents. A deposit of $80.00 per set will be required. This deposit may be refunded provided that the Contractors return all documents in good condition within one work week following the Bid Date. Additional sets of drawings and specifications may be secured at the cost of reproduction. No Plans or Specifications will be mailed. Subcontractors may purchase sets of plans and specifications at cost of reproduction (approx. $80.00). These sets are nonrefundable. A five percent (5%) Bid Deposit is required with sealed bid. The Bid Deposit shall be a certified check, postal money order, cash, cashier's check, or bid bond issued by a surety who meets the requirements of Chapter 48.28 RCW on the form provided or equivalent. Deposit of unsuccessful bidders will be returned after the contract is awarded. Successful bidder's deposit will be returned upon receipt and acceptance of Contract Documents. A one hundred percent (100%) contractor's Performance & Payment Bond is required. The bond must be delivered to the Stillaguamish Senior Center within ten (10) days after notification of the award. Stillaguamish Senior Center of Arlington, Washington is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The project is federally funded wholly by Snohomish County Community Development Block Grant funds. This project is subject to state and federal prevailing wage rates. All contractors and subcontractors must pay the higher of the two wages for each job classification. The contractor, all subcontractors, and all lower tier subcontractors will be required to attend a mandatory pre-construction meeting to review the HUD requirements and receive technical assistance prior to construction. In the event of conflicting requirements, the most restrictive will apply. This project is subject to state and federal prevailing wage rates. All contractors and subcontractors must pay the higher of the two wages for each job classification. This project is subject to MBE participation. Solicitation of MBE is required.
