SECURITY OFFICER JOB OPENING February 2021 Security Officer. Port of Grays Harbor. Part-time, average less than 40 hours/wk. Provide security services, controlling access and monitoring Port’s marine terminal shipping complex. Must be able to understand, follow and enforce homeland security procedures for busy industrial waterfront facilities. Must communicate well with customers, staff, marine transportation workers, public safety agencies. Must be able to obtain TWIC (tsa.gov/for-industry/twic) and have current Washington Driver’s License. Requires sitting for long periods, monitoring video screens, observation and detection, and making reports. Previous experience preferred. $18.96/hr plus benefit package. Rotating shifts, days, nights, weekends, holidays. Hours and shifts depend on cargo yard activity. Member of Port Security Officer Guild bargaining unit.
