SILVER LAKE WATER & SEWER DISTRICT CALL FOR BIDS 2021 ANNUAL PAVING UNIT PRICE CONTRACT Silver Lake Water & Sewer District will accept sealed bids by physical delivery to the after-hours payment drop box located in the parking lot at the Silver Lake Water & Sewer District building at 15205 41st Avenue SE, Bothell, WA, 98012, addressed to Scott Smith, P.E., District Engineer, Silver Lake Water & Sewer District, until 12:00 PM, local time on March 16, 2021. Alternatively, Silver Lake Water & Sewer District will accept emailed bids to proposals@slwsd.com until 12:00 PM, local time on March 16, 2021. Emailed bids shall only include PDF attachments. Links to download bid submittals will not be accepted. The District will not consider bids received after the above times and dates. At 2:00 PM on the same date, bids will be publicly opened and read online, accessible via a Microsoft Teams meeting. The call-in number is 206-412-5430 with conference ID 127 813 7#. Project Description: The work to be performed under this Unit Price Contract consists of adjustment and replacement of water and sewer castings, asphalt paving, restoration of sidewalks and curbs, pavement markings, and other minor miscellaneous elements above water and sewer utility systems, along with associated traffic control. Work will occur at various locations within Silver Lake Water & Sewer District’s jurisdiction, which includes the City of Mill Creek, Snohomish County, and WSDOT Right-of-Way. Work will be assigned through individual Work Authorizations with pay item prices determined by the Unit Prices established on the Annual Master Unit Price Bid Schedule. The Unit Price Contract value is not to exceed $500,000, and there are no State or Federal funds associated with this project. The Contract duration is for a period of one (1) year, with a possible one (1) year extension at the sole discretion of the District. This contract involves “public work”. Workers performing work in conjunction with the project shall receive the prevailing rate of wage pursuant to the State Prevailing Wages requirements. Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "Silver Lake Water & Sewer District". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders “Register” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project.
