MONTE HEALTH & REHAB RN - Director of Nursing Services (RN, Registered Nurse) Montesano Health & Rehabilitation Center is a 94 bed skilled nursing facility in Montesano, Washington. This center is accepting applications for a seasoned Director of Nursing Services (RN, Registered Nurse) to lead our nursing team. This center, has great support and resources to continue the quality of care initiatives and provide the community with great skilled nursing services. This center, located minutes away from the beautiful Pacific Ocean coastal towns in Washington, are a great leisure time area, ideal for swimming, boating, fishing, and coastal hiking and exploration. Hiking in the Rain Forest, canoeing, or flying a kite at the beach, are among some of the great activities our staff enjoy in their time away from our center. Winter sports more your thing? General Summary RN Director of Nursing Manage the day-to-day operations, activities and success of the resident care staff. Validates that the Nursing Department continues to develop and maintain high standards for excellence by being knowledgeable of industry changes and trends, and by implementing up-to-date nursing practices. • Develops and maintains a nursing service philosophy, objectives, and standards of practice. • Manages, supervises, and develops plans of action for assigned units, providing consistent monitoring and follow-through • Establishes systems for care planning, including assessments, plan of treatment, objectives and goals, evaluations and discharge planning. Maintains accurate and timely documentation. Coordinates care needs with other departments. • Demonstrates an understanding and knowledge of certification laws and requirements, survey requirements and Medicare program. • Supervises the rehabilitation programs of residents. • Validates that reporting departments consistently meet state and federal requirements for long-term care facilities for licensure. • Validates existence of a quality assurance program for nursing services and coordinates interdisciplinary quality assurance program. • Represents Center to residents, physicians, family members and community. • Education/Experience RN Director of Nursing: • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN degree preferred. • Current unencumbered RN license in Washington State or the ability to obtain • Minimum two years' experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing center is required.
