The Quinault Indian Nation is seeking skilled professional who is motivated, compassionate, and eager to provide protection and advocacy for Quinault Indian Nations elders and children. This position is unique in that is provides Adult protection services and helps ensure the Indian Child Welfare Act is being followed and cultural practices and sensitivity are in place for tribal children and their families. This P.A.L. (Protection Advocate Liaison) will work diligently with families, providers, placements, guardians, court officials and other tribal program staff to ensure the quality care and safety is provided for our most vulnerable populations. We seek a candidate who has education and background in the field of Social work and experience working with Native American families is desired. This person would function as a liaison between the QIN Social and Health Programs and other state, tribal and community programs to advocate on behalf of tribal members to ensure that members are safe, healthy and prospering. Using best practice model and ensuring equitable and fair treatment and services are offered throughout necessary intervention. Investigation experience is a plus.
