Shaw Island School District is seeking qualified applicants for a certificated teacher (.8 - 1 FTE) for the 2021-22 school year for grades 5-8. Applicants should hold a valid Washington State teaching certificate with an Elementary Education (K-8) endorsement or qualify to obtain one, or a 5-9 certificate with Middle Level Math, Science, and/or Humanities endorsements with the ability to obtain all endorsements. Candidates must exhibit proficiency in all core subjects. Experience teaching in a multi-level classroom is preferred. Experience teaching grades 5-8 is preferred.
