SILVER LAKE WATER & SEWER DISTRICT CALL FOR BIDS Thomas Lake Lift Station Replacement, District Project No. 20-0015 Silver Lake Water & Sewer District will accept sealed bids by physical delivery to the after-hours payment drop box located in the parking lot at the Silver Lake Water & Sewer District building at 15205 41st Avenue SE, Bothell, WA, 98012, addressed to Scott Smith, P.E., District Engineer, Silver Lake Water & Sewer District, until 1:00 p.m., local time on November 2, 2021. Alternatively, Silver Lake Water & Sewer District will accept emailed bids timely submitted to the District’s bid proposal email address: proposals@slwsd.com until 1:00 p.m., local time on November 2, 2021. Emailed bids shall only include PDF attachments. Links to download bid submittals will not be accepted. The District will not consider bids received after the above times and dates. Emailed bids shall be accompanied by a copy of the required bid bond if applicable. Project Description: The work to be performed for this project consists of replacement of the Thomas Lake Lift Station, demolition of the existing lift station and modifications to the wet well and lift station site. This will include construction of a new 12-foot diameter wet well with three new submersible sewer pumps, a new CMU control building, a new valve vault, force main connection to the existing force main and installation of a new generator. The project shall also include bypass pumping, rehabilitation of the existing wet well and site work including asphalt surfacing and fencing. The Engineer’s estimated cost of the project is $2,187,000 with 180 working days in the contract, and there are no State or Federal funds associated with this project. This contract involves “public work.” Workers performing work in conjunction with the project shall receive the prevailing rate of wage pursuant to the State Prevailing Wages requirements. This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that Bidders “Register” in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the “Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on-line plan room for addenda issued on this project. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the District.
