NOTICE OF ELECTION AND REGISTRATION DEADLINES NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in Snohomish County, State of Washington a General and Special Election will be held for local offices and state and local ballot measures. A complete listing of local offices, candidates, and ballot measures is available on the Snohomish County Elections website at www.snoco.org/elections and in the Snohomish County local voters’ pamphlet to be mailed to all households October 11. Information on state ballot measures can be found in the Secretary of State’s voters’ pamphlet to be mailed beginning October 1 and at sos.wa.gov. The last day an individual may register to vote or transfer an existing registration to a new address, by mail or online, for the above election is Monday, October 25, 2021. Mail-in registration forms and online registration can be found at votewa.gov or at Snohomish County Elections, 3000 Rockefeller Ave, Everett, WA. Individuals may update their address, register in person, and obtain a ballot at Snohomish County Elections during regular business hours through November 2, 2021 and at Accessible Voting locations from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday, November 1, and 8:30 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 2. Accessible Voting locations are Alderwood Water and Wastewater District, 3626 156th St SW, Lynnwood; Snohomish County Elections, 3000 Rockefeller Ave, Everett; and the Wyndham Gardens Hotel, 16710 Smokey Point Blvd, Arlington. Snohomish County Elections tests the ballot counting equipment in preparation for the election. The testing process is a regular activity in preparing for each election and is open to public observation. The official logic and accuracy test of the ballot counting equipment took place on September 24 at 10 a.m. at Snohomish County Elections. All registered voters eligible for this election will be mailed a ballot beginning Thursday, October 14. All ballot processing activities will be conducted at Snohomish County Elections in the Auditor’s office located in the Admin West Building, 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett, Washington. Ballots will be processed between September 24 and November 22 or until all valid ballots and provisional ballots are opened and canvassed, whichever comes first. Ballot tabulation scanning will begin on October 28 and will continue every day (except weekends and holidays) when there are sufficient numbers to process, until November 22. Initial election results will be released after 8 p.m. on Election Day, November 2, and all updates are posted at www.snoco.org/elections. The Snohomish County Canvassing Board will meet at the Snohomish County Auditor’s office during the following times to review and certify the returns of the November 2, 2021 General and Special Election. Friday, November 19, 2021 – 11 a.m., to review returns* Monday, November 22, 2021 – 11 a.m., to review returns Tuesday, November 23, 2021 – 1 p.m., to certify returns and set time and date for any recounts. *Meeting is tentative and will be called based on number of items for Board review.
