GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Technician – Orcas Island OPALCO is seeking a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Technician. Successful candidates will have a willingness to learn, attention to detail and drafting/mapping experience is preferred. Main roles include updating system and electrical maps, tracking system changes, and providing services to other departments to facilitate their needs through GIS, SCADA, AutoCAD, and other software applications. This is an Eastsound (preferably) based, bargaining unit, full time position with some travel to other districts as needed.
