CITY OF MARYSVILLE CALL FOR BIDS 2022 Sidewalk Infill Project Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk at Marysville City Hall, 1049 State Avenue, Marysville, WA 98270 until 10:00 a.m., local time, on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The City will not consider proposals received after this time. Bidders shall submit an original bid in a sealed envelope labeled with the bidder’s name and project title. The work to be performed under the City of Marysville’s 2022 Sidewalk Infill Project involves frontage improvements at eight project sites in the downtown area and shall include construction of curb, gutter, concrete sidewalk and sidewalk ramps to meet ADA standards, 153 tons of HMA, utility box and manhole adjustment, restoration and other work in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All work must be completed in accordance with the Contract Documents and the Contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond (with an authorized surety company as surety) made payable to the City of Marysville in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The City of Marysville reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period of forty-five (45) days.
