EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING CASEWORKER JOB ANNOUNCEMENT The Employment and Training Caseworker will work on placements, retention and advancement of TANF participants in the workforce. The Employment and Training Caseworker will provide employment counseling, act as a liaison between participant, caseworker, employer, training institutes and other area resources. The caseworker will set up and monitor job skills courses and GED courses, and track attendance of referred participants in both courses. The Employment and Training Caseworker will assist with volunteer or job placements. The caseworker will process support services and will be responsible for active and above active case management to include reporting and documentation of services provided to participants. This positions provide services from the Taholah, Queets, and Hoquiam TANF Office locations. Minimum qualifications: Caseworker I P3 G7: 2 year degree or specific certification and 2 years of experience. Caseworker II P4 G8: 4 year degree with 1 year of experience or specific certification, or 5 years of direct experience. Caseworker III P4 G9: 4 year degree with 3 years of experience or specific certification or 10 years of direct experience. Must be willing to work flexible hours.
