Maintenance – Industrial Electrician Seeking experienced industrial electrician to join Port maintenance crew. Duties include: analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting plant instrumentation, VFD, soft starts, PLC and motors, mobile and fixed equipment, and lighting and wiring in varied Port facilities; day to day millwright, electrical maintenance; ensuring proper operating parameters, techniques and safety objectives are maintained. Need self-starter with strong teamwork and customer service skills, and 5+ years related work experience. Must understand and support industrial work safety rules. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate past success in industrial instrumentation, electrical work, problem solving, and working both independently and with groups. Millwright, mechanical or related experience, also a plus. Must be willing to work rotating shifts. Hourly base rate of $44.38 plus shift premium and overtime. Member of bargaining unit.
