Improvement Program,
Amendment #3
The Grand Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (GVMPO) is seeking public input on the draft Amendment #3 for the 2018-2021 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The draft Amendment #3 will be available for viewing on the Mesa County Regional Transportation Planning office (RTPO) website at: http://rtpo.mesacounty.us. Copies of the draft Amendment #3 can also be obtained at the Mesa County RTPO at 525 South 6th Street, 2nd Floor, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501 beginning Monday, November 20, 2017. Any questions regarding the draft amendment can be referred to Dean Bressler at 970-623-8479.
The 2018-2021 TIP includes all federal and state funded projects proposed within the GVMPO boundary for state fiscal years 2018 through 2021. The TIP public involvement process also serves as the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5307 public involvement process.
The public comment period for the proposed draft TIP Amendment #3 will end on Monday, December 18, 2017. Any written comments can be mailed to Mesa County RTPO, P.O. Box 20,000, Department 5093, Grand Junction, Colorado 81502-5001, or emailed to rtpo@mesacounty.us
Following the public comment period, staff will make any appropriate revisions to the draft document. The Grand Valley Regional Transportation Committee (GVRTC) will conduct a public hearing and vote on the draft 2018-2021 TIP Amendment #3 at its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, December 18, 2017.
