REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Housing Needs Assessment Baranof Island Housing Authority (BIHA) is requesting written proposals from qualified individuals and firms for a housing needs assessment for Alaska Natives and American Indians residing in Sitka, Alaska, with an emphasis on the needs of residents who are enrolled members of the Sitka Tribe of Alaska. Proposals will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. local time on April 14, 2023, and should be emailed to Leah Mason at leah.mason@bihasitka.org. The scope of work includes a community profile, community housing inventory, detailed data on current housing inventory and demographics for Alaska Native and American Indian residents, projections for future community growth, and a gap analysis. The work will require the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data as well as analyses of publicly available information.
