Thank you for your interest in Click & Buy. If you are experiencing any problems with your online or print ad please read this email in its entirety. Please note if you received this FAQ via email, this is an automated response to your inquiry. Emails sent to this address will not be responded to directly.

1. What Are Some of the Features Of My Click & Buy Ad?

Optionally, you can upload up to 8 images, expand your ad description up to 4,000 chraracters (about 800 words), and upload 1 multimedia file.

2. What Type Of Images Can I Upload?

Images must be less than 2mb in one of the following formats: jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .giff, .png, .tif, .tiff, and .bmp Uploaded images will be resized automatically to 400x400 if they exceed these dimensions.

3. What Type Of Media File Can I Upload?

Media files must be less than 4MB in size and in one of the following formats: aiff, avi, mpg, mov, wav and wmv.

4. I Tried To Upload My Pictures But They Are Not Uploading. What Should I Do?

If you are using a dial-up connection it may help to downsize the image size in order to be able to upload them quicker and to avoid any possible connection time outs.

5. What Do I Do If I Can't login?

If you are having problems logging into your account, verify you are using the right email address and password. Note that passwords are case sensitive.

If you continue have problems try resetting your password to your account by clicking on the "HELP:I forgot my password or I can't log in" (which can be found below the "Log In" button of the login screen) and follow the instructions.

6. What Do I Do If I Forgot My Password Or My Password Doesn't Work?

If you are having problems with your password or you have forgotten your password you will need to reset it. For security reasons we can not retrieve your password for you.

To reset your password click on the "HELP:I forgot my password or I can't log in" hyperlink (which can be found below the "Log In" button of the login screen).

*Please note the passwords are case sensitive. You must enter it exactly as you receive it.

7. I Never Received An Email For My New Ad. What Should I Do?

Check in a bulk or junk email folder and make sure that the email was not sent there by a spam filter. If you are unable to find your email, call us at 713-224-6868.

Please ensure any email spam filtering software on your machine or at your service provider is configured to allow mail from clickandbuy.com and/or add houstonchronicle@clicknbuy.com to your email contacts.

8. I Have Set Up An Account Already But Have Not Received An Email Yet. What Should I Do?

Check in a bulk or junk email folder and make sure that the email was not sent there by a spam filter. If you have not received any email from us you still have the ability to enhance your online ad and manage your account. Simply login to your account at: http://secure.adpay.com/login.aspx?pid=567045624158574461682F6D2B5175416556506635513D3D and enter the personal password that you chose when you created your account. If you have forgoten your password please see above. Once logged in click on the "My ads Online" link on the left hand side. To begin enhancing your online click on the icon that corresponds to what you would like to update.

9. How Do I Renew My Online Only Ad?

If your online only ad has expired and you would like to renew it, login to your account at http://secure.adpay.com/login.aspx?pid=567045624158574461682F6D2B5175416556506635513D3D. Once logged in click on the "My Ads Online" hyperlink on the left.

Your "My Ads Online" area will list any ads you have or had on our marketplace including their status. Any expired ads will be at the bottom of this page. To renew your online only ad click the "Renew" image button and follow the instructions.

10. What If I Need To Change My Online Ad?

You can change your online ad at any time including the ability to change your online ad text, manage your photos and multimedia. To change your ad login to your account at: http://secure.adpay.com/login.aspx?pid=567045624158574461682F6D2B5175416556506635513D3D. Once logged in click on the "My Ads Online" hyperlink on the left.

Your "My Ads Online" area will list any ads you have or had on our marketplace including their status. You can change any open ad's information by clicking on the appropriate button image next the ad's description on this page.

11. How Do I Add More Photos To My Online Ad?

Follow the instructions under "What If I Need to Change My Online Ad". Once you are on the "My Ads Online" page click on the photos image button for your ad you want to upload images for, this will take you to the Image Manager for your ad. Follow the instructions on the page to upload your photos.

12. How Do I Cancel My Online Ad?

To cancel your online ad login to your account at: http://secure.adpay.com/login.aspx?pid=567045624158574461682F6D2B5175416556506635513D3D. Once logged in click on the "My Ads Online" hyperlink on the left.

Your "My Ads Online" area will list any ads you have or had on our marketplace including their status. To close or cancel your online ad click on the "Cancel" image button.*

* Please note if you have a print ad this will not cancel your print ad. Please email us at classifieds@chron.com or call us at 713-224-6868 to cancel your print ad, include your name, telephone number and information on the print ad you would like us to cancel.

13. How Do I Renew Or Cancel My Print Ad?

Please email us at classifieds@chron.com or call us at 713-224-6868 to renew or cancel your print ad, include your name, telephone number and information on the print ad you would like us to cancel.

14. How Long Does It Take For My Ad To Appear Online And To Have Photos And Text Approved?

It can take up to one business day for ads, text, and photos to go online. Please allow at least 24 hours for any changes to your online ad to appear online.

15. Why When I Make Changes To My Online Ad, Do The Changes Not Show Up In My Online Ad And Print Ad?

Any changes done to your ad online will be displayed online only.

To make changes to your online ad you can log into Click & Buy and edit your ad text or if your having problems send an email to clicknbuy_support@chron.com along with your name, ad number, phone number, and the specific changes you would like to have made to your ad.

16. How Can I Change The Email Address Used For My Ad?

Please email your contact information and if possible your ad # to classifieds@chron.com or call us at 713-224-6868.

If your problem or issue does not appear in this list, or it doesn't seem to correct your problem, then send another email to clicknbuy_support@chron.com. This message will get answered. Always provide your email address used to place your ad, the ad number if you know it, your name and a phone number where you can be reached during the day in case we need to call you.
