A pre-bid meeting will be on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the south east end of South Redlands Road (where road ends adjacent to Redlands Power Canal). Attendance at the meeting is mandatory.
Ute Water's office will stamp the date and mark the time received on all bids. Bids received after the date and time indicated on the Invitation to Bid will not be considered. The Ute Water Conservancy District is not responsible for delays occasioned by the US Postal Service or any other means of delivery employed by Bidder.
A five percent (5%) Bid Bond will be required, as well as one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bonds to guarantee the faithful performance of the contract. It is required that the surety issuing such bonds have an attorney-in-fact or a principal doing business in Colorado. This information must be included on the bond statement.
The Ute Water Conservancy District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to postpone the award for thirty (30) days, to delete certain items from the Proposal, and to award the Contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
The Ute Water Conservancy District may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed bidding procedures and requirements and, may reject any and all bids upon finding that it is in the District's best interest to do so.
Contractor shall be licensed as required by the State of Colorado and local governments or municipalities.
