The Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing invites the public to comment on proposed waiver amendments to the following Long term Services and Supports (LTSS) waivers:
• Brain Injury (BI)
• Elderly, Blind, and Disabled (EBD)
• Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)
• Children's Home and Community Based Services (CHCBS)
• Children with Life-Limiting Illness (CLLI)
These waiver amendments are required to satisfy several recent developments including across the board rate increases for all HCBS services with the exception of Non-Medical Transportation, Personal Care and Homemaker Services, which have targeted rate increases; updates to the number of Single Entry Point agencies who provide case management services; updated language that speaks to conflict free case management; updated person-centered planning language; updated quality performance measures; updated rate methodology; and updates to the forecast for expenditures for the life of the waiver. The Department has asked for an effective date of October 1st, 2017.
