NETWORK MANAGER
S&K Logistics Services, LLC is seeking to hire a full-time position with Benefits for the Moab UMTRA Project. This position is located in Grand Junction.
Summary
This position is located in Grand Junction, CO. The Network Manager is responsible for the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and services for the Moab Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action (UMTRA) Project sites and office locations and for all contractor and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Implement and manage the operation and security of all IT infrastructure and services for the Moab UMTRA Project.
- Develop and implement the network information security framework in accordance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 controls as required by DOE policy.
- Develop supporting policies and procedures, including risk analysis, continuity of operations planning, and systems configuration management.
- Manage the cyber security program, including vulnerability scanning and remediation, incident response, and network monitoring.
- Supervise Programming and Help Desk staff.
- Provide support as requested for administrative purposes and in support of the Quality Management System.
- Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of management.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
This is a full-time, exempt position requiring a bachelor's degree in the field of computers and/or IT and 7 years previous computer services experience. Must have experience with LAN, WAN, and wireless networks. Experience with server deployment and maintenance and cyber security support is required. Must be familiar with Microsoft network technologies including Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Server, and Hyper-V.
Language Skills
Some fundamentals associated with this position include the ability to read and interpret documents in English, including reports and property drawings/markings, to write reports and correspondences in English, and to verbally communicate effectively with customers and associated contractors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of algebra, geometry, calculus, and other high level mathematical concepts.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, and establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that deal with abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
Ability to operate calculator, office copier, fax, and computer are required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Current driver's license; Proof of U.S. Citizenship or approved to work within the United States; the ability to obtain security clearance enabling access to various government facilities.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
